  • Mattress Pads
  • Mattress Protectors/Mattress Covers
  • Pillowcases
  • Comforters
  • Duvets
  • Shams
  • Quilts
  • Bed Skirts etc.

Bedding is a crucial part of sleep since it adds comfort and warmth, affects the quality of your sleep, safeguards your mattress, and may even encourage good hygiene.

Sheets

Sheets or bedsheets are huge pieces of fabric or cloth that are typically used to cover a mattress or other surface where a person would sleep. Sheets can be utilized as a layering material under blankets. Various fabrics, including cotton, polyester, linen, silk, satin, tencel, bamboo, and microfiber, are frequently used to make bed sheets. Most of the sheet sets come with a Flat Sheet, a Fitted Sheet, and one or more Pillow Cases.

Mattress Topper

A mattress topper is a thin/thick layer of material that is placed on top of your existing mattress. Mattress toppers are generally made of memory foam, gel, latex, and other materials. A mattress topper is typically used to augment an existing mattress’s comfort, pressure relief, or support.

Toppers can be used on both old and new mattresses. Mattress toppers can breathe new life into an old mattress or extend the life of a new one.

Mattress Toppers is usually recommended for people with One-Sided mattresses to use a topper as it helps in increasing the life span of the no-turn mattress immensely. However, people who have two-sided mattresses, and who turn their mattress on a regular basis may opt out of it or use it as per their individual preference.

Mattress Pad

A Mattress Pad is a layer of covering that is placed above the mattress and under the bedsheet. Mattress Pads can extend the life of an existing/new mattress by protecting it from accidental spills or dirt and a little additional support. Mattress pads do bring in some change in the comfort offered by the mattress but as they are not thick enough, don’t expect any drastic change.

Mattress Protector

A mattress protector is a very lightly quilted material that sits on top of, or encases, a mattress to protect it. Mattress protector is also known as mattress cover. Bed bugs, dust mites, and mold are just a few of the allergens and irritants that mattress coverings shield the person sleeping on the mattress from. Mattress Protector or Mattress covers also help to keep your mattress free from excess body soil and sweat.

Comforter

A comforter is a fluffy quilted material with insulating fillings like wool, silk, cotton or polyester. It is usually used as a blanket with additional sheets under it. Mattress comforters are pretty good at keeping people warm during cold climatic conditions.

Duvet

Duvet can be defined as a soft quilt filled with down or feathers or a combination of both.  Some duvets are also filled with synthetic materials.

A duvet is used as the top layer of bedding to keep the sleeper warm as they rest. Duvet is also called “Duvet insert” as Duvets are usually inserted into a Duvet cover.

Weighted Blanket

A Weighted blanket is a relatively heavy blanket used for therapeutic purposes. Weighted blankets are believed to stimulate the production of a mood-boosting hormone serotonin, reduce the stress hormone cortisol, and increase levels of melatonin, the hormone that helps a person feel calmer when they lie or sit under it.

Bed Skirts:

A bed skirt is the material that covers the bottom of the bed frame and extends to the floor. Bed skirts can stylishly hide storage space or box springs. Bed skirts are also known as Dust Ruffles. One of the most important tasks of a bed skirt or dust ruffle is to keep dust from accumulating underneath and around the bed.

There are different types of Bed Skirts or Dust Ruffles such as

  • Wrap Around Bed Skirts
  • Linen Bed Skirts
  • Canvas Bed Skirts
  • Velcro Bed Skirts
  • Split Corner Bed Skirts

All Bed Skirts are usually available either with a flat panel or with pleats.

Quilts:

A quilt is a three-layered quilted blanket that is stitched together and has batting in the middle, a decorative layer on top, and another layer of fabric at the bottom. Although thicker than blankets, quilts are not as warm as comforters.
